MAUREEN HAS PIZZAZZ!
Although Maureen Edwards retired from school teaching a few years ago, her love for education and learning certainly hasn’t waivered. Maureen has simply moved her knowledge and passion for education to another level and that of business owner of Toys with Pizzazz.
Toys with Pizzazz is one of Carrara Markets most magical stores with hundreds of inspiring and truly beautifully crafted educational toys lining the shelves. Everything from wooden blocks, puzzles, letter & number activities, clock & time tell boards, pop up tents, jigsaws, finger puppets, musical instruments, cars, trucks, trains and everything else you can imagine … but without an electronic device in sight!
Yes this store is whimsical because its toys require a genuine use of imagination, exploration and good old fashion play. Maureen says “Educational toys are heaps of fun. There’s no need to bombard your child with electronic toys just because we have the technology available to us. Children can be just as happy & content with a box of blocks or cars.”

SUNNY KATHY KNOWS HER SUNNIES

Take a look at Gangsta Graffix at the markets and you’ll see graffiti in a whole new way. This is street art at its best.
Matt of Gangsta Graffix has been spraying his graffiti art on caps now for over 7 years and he says there is never one cap the same. “We customise each & every cap to suit the customers taste & style with colours & words. Most are customised with first names & nicknames. They make awesome Birthday and Christmas presents.”
Every now and then Matt gets some interesting requests from his customers with caps for Buck’s & Hen’s parties. Plus over the years he’s had some very strange requests with cap messages you wouldn’t want your mum to see!

DOM KNOWS HIS FLAGS
Meet Dom from the Carrara Flag Shop. He has one of the most memorable stalls at the markets, selling absolutely every flag you can imagine. There’s flags from around the world, football flags, pirate flags and messaged flags. Large, medium, small, hanging flags, hand flags, desk flags, flags on mugs, flags on stubby coolers and even flags on mini boxing gloves!
Dom says his flags are extremely popular whenever there is a big sporting event like the Rugby World Cup. People become very patriotic and want an international flag to support their homeland.
With the festive season just around the corner, the Carrara Flag Shop even has a great range of Christmas & New Year flags to celebrate the occasion.

You can’t miss Shelley at Carrara Markets. Her trademark blonde curls and cheery personality make her a most loved stallholder, especially with female market-goers who adore her cosmetic range.
